Carly Pearce shared details of their new album and released a duet with one of their biggest inspirations, Patty without love.

Arrived September 17 via Big Machine Records, Pearce’s third studio album, 29: written in stone, produced by Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, will feature 15 songs, 7 of which are on his collection titled 29, with 8 additional tracks. Pearce co-wrote each of the 15 songs on the songlist.

To coincide with the announcement of her upcoming new album, the country superstar shared fan favorite song “Dear Miss Loretta,” a song she debuted during an Opry performance, however, the song has the addition of a duet partner, Patty Without Love.

“Dear Miss Loretta” finds Pearce paying homage to Country Music Hall Of Famer Loretta Lynn.

“To hear Patty Loveless sing your words, there’s no way to describe that feeling,” Pearce said of the duo. “Her voice is Appalachia, those mountains and those screams are country music. To think that a year ago I was wondering, “What would Patty Loveless do?” thinking about all of her songs, how smart and sassy she has always been… and now she’s on one of mine.

Listen to Pearce and Loveless’s “Dear Miss Loretta” below.

Additionally, Pearce is expected to be inducted as a new member of the Grand Ole Opry later tonight in Nashville, Tennessee.
