Johnny Marr has announced a double album titled ‘Fever Dreams Pts 1-4’.

The former Smiths rocker’s fourth solo studio effort – the sequel to 2018’s “Call The Comet” – has 16 tracks and encompasses the “vocabulary of sound” that Johnny has developed over the years since the legendary band split. of rock in 1987.

Released on February 25, 2022, the LP is divided into four chapters and is intended to be listened to in order.

The 57-year-old musician said: “There is a set of influences and a very broad sound that I have developed – really since I came out of The Smiths until now, and I hear it in this album. . There are so many strands of music. We didn’t do it consciously, but I think I have a sonic vocabulary. And I’m very happy that I was able to use it. “
