Bombay, April 20 (SocialNews.XYZ) Singer Rupali Jagga, who is making her Bollywood debut as a playback singer with the song “Tere Bin Jeena Kya”, says finding space becomes easier for a new singer, when he has an independent career as an artist.
Asked how hard it is for a new singer to succeed in Bollywood and Rupali told IANS: “I would say I’m more focused on my career in music as an independent artist. Earlier also, my single ‘Tere Piche’ came out and received some exposure. I think instead of chasing composers for Bollywood songs, we should have our independent collaborative work and post it on social media. It’s more of an effective way to find work because otherwise Bollywood is huge and difficult for newcomers.”
The singer was one of the finalists of the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. She was also the winner of the first edition of the singing reality show Indian Pro Music League.
The new song ‘Tere Bin Jeena Kya’ is composed by veteran MM Kreem and written by Manoj Muntashir.
While the budding singer has previously worked with top musical directors like Himesh Reshammiya and Salim-Sulemane, she expresses her excitement at the prospect of watching a song on a 70mm screen.
“I think for a singer a song is a song and nowadays every song has a video too. But watching a song, photographed on actors and shown on a 70mm screen is a different peak. From a I don’t differentiate songs between film and non-film in some way. But the only thing that makes a Bollywood song special is watching it on the big screen. I will take my parents and family to watch the screening, I’m excited !” shared the young singer.
The song, ‘Tere Piche’ is a duet song, and Rupali co-sings it with Vishal Mishra.
The film “Operation Romeo” which deals with the moral police in our society, produced by Neeraj Pandey, directed by Sushant Shah, with Sharad Kelkar, Bhumika Chawla, Sidhant Gupta and Vedika Pinto is released on April 22 in theaters.
